As with other Abbott facilities, the same world-class manufacturing standards and quality controls will apply to the Singapore plant. At start-up, the plant is expected to employ several hundred people in roles ranging from professional and management to technical, maintenance and operations.
Work on the plant will start in May 2006 and the plant is expected to be in operation by the end of 2008.
