BOC expands distributor network
Signs Merriam-Graves, New Hampshire-based compressed gas distributor
Merriam-Graves was founded in 1925 and was acquired by the Wakeman family in 1966. The Charlestown-based company employs 200 people in 22 locations throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut and eastern New York, and has a fleet of 80 trucks and a state of the art computerized and palletized fast-fill production plant.
Kit Wakeman, president of Merriam-Graves, said his company selected BOC based on a host of value-added offerings such as its strategically located air separation units, its progressive energy management program, its commitment to the independent distributor and the quality and breadth of the people who work in the company's distributor program.
