New European centre for polymer and protein characterisation
Viscotek announced that on 1st July 2004 the company will relocate its European headquarters to a modern new facility in Wellington Business Park, Berkshire, UK.
With European sales now representing a large and growing percentage of Viscotek's global turnover the move reflects several successful product introductions over the last year, strong performances from regional offices and a growing penetration of the life sciences market.
Talking about the move Paul Clarke (MD, Viscotek Europe) commented 'the new facility marks a further investment in our growing base of chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech customers who characterise polymers, proteins and biopolymer samples'. He added 'the new purpose built applications development laboratory, instrument demonstration suite and training area will enable our experienced and knowledgeable staff, fluent in a range of European languages, to provide an unmatched level of service to customers across Europe'.
