Bac2 promotes Jim Totczyk to Director of Operations
Bac2 has promoted Jim Totczyk (46) to the role of Director of Operations from his previous position as Production Manager. The move comes as the company sees growing demand for volume manufacture of moulded bipolar plates and end plates made from its patented ElectroPhen conductive polymer. Totczyk will now oversee all aspects of supply chain management, production and customer service. Volumes are expected to reach millions of units per annum in the coming years as the adoption of fuel cell technology accelerates.
Totczyk joined Bac2 from Meggitt Avionics in 2007 where, as Head of Operations, he introduced lean manufacturing processes to the business. Prior that that was with Brookes & Gatehouse for 17 years, latterly as Director of Manufacturing, specializing in polymer moulding techniques.
