Rohm and Haas Company Announces Price Increases for Acrylate, Methacrylates and RocryL(R) Specialty Monomers

Rohm and Haas Company announced that with the continued rising costs of key raw materials, it is increasing off-list prices for Acrylate, Methacrylate and Rocryl® Specialty monomers shown below, effective October 1, 2006. These increases are as follows:

Europe (EUR/MT): Butyl Acrylate (BA) EUR 100; Ethyl Acrylate (EA) EUR100; Glacial Acrylic Acid (GAA) EUR90; 2-Ethyl Hexyl Acrylate (2-EHA) EUR100 ; Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) EUR120; Glacial Methacrylic Acid (GMAA) EUR120; Butyl Methacrylic Acid (BMA) 120; Rocryl 400 Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate (HEMA) EUR90; Rocryl 410 Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate (HPMA) EUR90; Rocryl 420 Hydroxyethyl Acrylate (HEA) EUR90; Rocryl 430 Hydroxypropyl Acrylate (HPA) EUR90
