Ciba Specialty Chemicals announces its participation in the platform of SpecialChem

Ciba specialty chemicals, the leading global supplier of plastic additives has announced its participation in the platform of SpecialChem, the online knowledge and technical solution provider for the polymer additives industry. Ciba will provide expertise and technical assistance in the areas of antioxidants, UV stabilizers and fluorescent whitening agents to customers who would like to find solutions to their technical problems online.

Its participation in SpecialChem’s platform expands and complements Ciba’s current e-business offer to its polymer industry customers which includes its site, mybusiness@cibasc and its participation in Elemica.

Since going live in December 2000 SpecialChem already has over 6,000 registered users and receives over 100 requests per month from users worldwide wanting technical assistance.
