Bristol-Myers Squibb's Buffalo, New York, Site Receives ISO 14001 Certification

The Bristol-Myers Squibb Company's (NYSE: BMY) Buffalo Technical Operations site recently attained International Standard ISO 14001 certification, a significant environmental management milestone which recognizes the manufacturing facility's commitment to making quality products while practicing environmental responsibility.

The Buffalo site is Bristol-Myers Squibb's first U. S. Pharmaceutical location within its Worldwide Medicines Group to obtain this certification.

Kenneth Dauria, General Manager for the Buffalo site, said, "Receiving this certification recognizes the months of hard work by employees at this site as we seek continuous improvement in our Environmental Health and Safety programs while striving for industry leadership. Protecting the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers and the public is a top priority here."

The Buffalo plant, located on Forest Avenue, employs about 300 full-time employees and manufactures prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals and cosmetic products, including the well-known Keri® line.
