Eurofins acquires LEM laboratories in France

02-Aug-2005

Further to the conditional agreement already announced, Eurofins has signed a final agreement with the GINGER group, as a result of which Eurofins takes over LEM laboratories and receives the long-term outsourcing of Ginger's analyses requirements within the scope of LEM's technological portfolio.

LEM is specialised in the analysis of environmental samples, materials, water and food products. With more than 150 employees, LEM generates annual sales of over EUR 10 million. LEM is one of the largest laboratories in France in its fields of expertise. This agreement will further reinforce the position of Eurofins as market leader in food and environmental analysis in Europe. LEM laboratories' headquarter is located in Saverne (Alsace/ France).
