Dynea inaugurates resin plant in Guangdong
The new plant is fully automated, and applies the most up-to-date international panelboard standards in its production. At the same time, the plant reflects Dynea's global best practice experience in the areas of health and safety. It supplies southern China's markets with high quality resins for plywood, particle-, MDF- and OSB boards, as well as for laminated beams, mineral- and glass-wool, abrasive and foundry manufacturing industries. Dynea (Guangdong) Co. Ltd. has a yearly production capacity of 60,000 tonnes of resins.
Dynea continues to invest in the plant and a phenolic impregnation line will start production in 2004. The new impregnation line will have an annual capacity of 35 million square meters of technical overlays films, including high quality surface films for the quickly growing Chinese concrete shuttering board market.
Commitment to serve the Chinese market
For Dynea, China is a strategic market for growth. The new resins plant together with the new overlays line is another confirmation of Dynea's commitment to serve this market with superior adhesion and surfacing solutions.
Since 1999, Dynea has been serving the Chinese market with panelboard adhesives, impregnating resins and wood glues from its Beijing plant. In November 2002, Dynea Shanghai Co Ltd's Manufacture and Service Base was inaugurated to serve the Chinese wood-working industry and other industrial applications with water-based adhesives.
Dynea's three plants and 12 sales offices employ some 130 persons in China.
