Sterigenics receives ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation

Sterigenics International LLC announced that it has received ISO/IEC 17025:2005 food and chemistry accreditation in Mexico.

“We are pleased to receive this accreditation,” said Philip Macnabb, President and COO of Sterigenics International LLC.  “Mexico is a key Sterigenics region with Gamma sterilization operations in Hidalgo and Ethylene Oxide sterilization operations in Mexico City.  This accreditation at our SteriPro Laboratories in Mexico City recognizes our ability to provide the necessary testing capabilities and knowledge to accompany our world class processing facilities.”

ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation signifies that the SteriPro laboratory is competent to carry out the necessary microbiological and chemical tests consistent with the highest quality standards necessary to meet the needs of their medical device and food customers.
