Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc. Appoints Anna Cheng Catalano to its Board of Directors
Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc. announced the appointment of Anna Cheng Catalano to its Board of Directors, effective September 15, 2011.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome Anna Cheng Catalano to Kraton's Board," said Dan F. Smith, Chairman of Kraton's Board of Directors. "Anna has an extensive international background and significant expertise in marketing, sales operations, strategic planning and global business development," said Smith. "We look forward to the benefit of her experience, vision and leadership on the Board, as Kraton continues to expand its international presence."
Ms. Catalano served in various senior executive capacities with BP plc (formerly Amoco Corporation) from 1979 until 2003, including Group Vice President, Global Marketing from 2000 to 2003 and Group Vice President, Emerging Markets from 1999 to 2000. Ms. Catalano currently serves on the Boards of Willis Group Holdings, Mead Johnson Nutrition and Chemtura Corporation, and as an advisory board member of the Kellogg Innovation Network of Northwestern University. Ms. Catalano has previously served on the Boards of Aviva plc, Hercules Incorporated, SSL International plc and U.S. Dataworks. In the not-for-profit sector, Ms. Catalano serves on the board of the Houston Chapter of Alzheimer's Association. Ms. Catalano has a B.S. in Marketing and Business Administration from the University of Illinois and is a graduate of the Indiana University Graduate School of Business Executive Management Program.
