Dorf Ketal Announces Full Production at World's Largest Organic Titanate Plant

04-May-2011 - India

Dorf Ketal Speciality catalysts announced full production at its new, state-of-the-art organic titanate plant in Mundra, India.  According to Sudhir Menon, Dorf Ketal Chairman, the plant will produce up to 10,000 metric tons of the industry's broadest portfolio of titanates annually, making it the largest facility of its kind in the world.  The Mundra plant joins the company's recently expanded Dadra plant in shipping TYZOR®, and VERTEC™ organic titanates worldwide.

John McChesney, general manager of Dorf Ketal Speciality Catalysts, points out that the company's focus is taking care of its customers.  "We are now the world's only titanate manufacturer with a global supply and logistics network and two production facilities – the only supplier capable of meeting global demand for these versatile products – and the best is yet to come.  Dorf Ketal's technical service group is working closely with our customers to help them improve performance in existing applications, and our R&D staff is already developing the next generation of high-performance organic titanates."
