Olivier Faussadier is appointed Vice President and General Manager of OMNOVA Solutions
Olivier Faussadier is appointed Vice President and General Manager of OMNOVA Solutions' Performance Chemicals business in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India following OMNOVA's acquisition of specialty chemicals producer Eliokem in December 2010. Consistent with this role, Mr. Faussadier also is named Chairman of Eliokem International.
Director and Member of the Executive Committee of Eliokem since 2007, he headed the Development and Ventures Department of Eliokem focusing on acquisition strategy and expansion opportunities of the company.
Between 2004 and 2006 he acted as Director of Manufacturing and Technology of the Group worldwide and General Manager of the Ningbo operations (China).
He had previously spent six years in the United States where he held successively the positions of Marketing Director for specialty resins and then General Manager for the US operations of Goodyear Specialty Chemicals until December 2001. Between 2001 and 2004 he led the US operations as General Manager of Eliokem USA.
Aged 44, Olivier Faussadier, is graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie in Clermont-Ferrand (France) and holds a Master of Science in Polymers (1990). He started his career at Goodyear Specialty Chemicals in 1992.
