Chlorinated solvents sector recognised for support to sustainable textile care
The E-DryClean Project is the first European online package providing training, expertise and best practises for safe and sustainable professional textile care. The CINET Excellence Award is given annually by the International Committee of Textile Care to persons or organizations which provide a valuable resource to the industry. CINET constitutes the umbrella organization pooling national textile care associations.
The E-DryClean Project groups 15 partners from eight European countries. Over a two year period they developed an E-learning package that gives a comprehensive and detailed overview of best practices and working procedures in sustainable dry-cleaning. It also assures that the cleaning processes meet all legal requirements. The European Chlorinated Solvent Association (ECSA) was leading partner on the module Perchloroethylene.
