Metrohm-Peak Chooses ACCPAC Web-Based Accounting and CRM
PLEASANTON, Calif., July 31 - ACCPAC International, Inc., a subsidiary of Computer Associates International, Inc., announced today that Metrohm-Peak, a leader in ion chromatography instrumentation and advanced analytical chemistry services, has selected ACCPAC Advantage Series(TM) and ACCPAC eCRM(TM) for their accounting and customer relationship management needs. Because the products are integrated and web-based, Metrohm-Peak now has anytime, anywhere access to accounting and CRM functions. For example, their worldwide sales force can, from any location, look up customer information, check pricing, view inventory levels and enter sales orders -- securely, and in a matter of minutes.
"Our goal is to increase sales 20 percent this year. We want to have as much as 25 percent of the overall market by 2003," said Metrohm-Peak CEO, Jeff Brewer. "Our salespeople need to spend their time selling, rather than filling out paperwork. We expect our new ACCPAC solutions to be key in achieving our goals."
Metrohm-Peak employees can now access company information with a Web browser, facilitating real-time order entry, AR invoicing, item lookup, commissions, quoting and any other relevant accounting or customer transaction. The entire history of interactions with customers, partners -- and even competitors -- is available in real time from a central database. As a result, Metrohm-Peak anticipates the potential for:
* shorter sales cycles
* more timely and reliable sales forecasts
* informed, proactive and consistent customer interactions
* improved management of Warranty and RMA information
