Dow Corning Names Global Distribution Manager for Solar Business
Dow Corning has named Allison Ashbrook as global distribution manager for its solar business, which provides silicon-based solutions throughout the entire photovoltaic value chain. Based at Dow Corning facilities in Newark, Calif., Ashbrook will be responsible for developing and implementing Dow Corning’s global distribution strategy, overseeing supply of the company’s solar products and services to customers around the world.
Ashbrook joined Dow Corning in 1997 as a staff accountant and has transitioned into both domestic and international marketing and operations roles across Dow Corning over the past decade. Most recently, she was the business development manager for the global solutions team. Prior to this role, Ashbrook held various management positions in production and packaging management at Dow Corning’s manufacturing site in Greensboro, N.C.
Ashbrook received her bachelor’s degree in finance from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University.
