Cray Valley announces a price increase for resin and gel coat in Europe.
Cray Valley will be increasing the price of its complete portfolio of resins and gel coats produced and sold in Europe, effective 1st October, or as agreements allow. Price adjustments will be €150 per ton and will be primarily based on margin recovery, after the sharp and continued raw material increases experienced in the last few months.
Philippe Vindevoghel, Commercial Director Composites Europe, explains: “The main raw materials, used to manufacture polyester resins (UPR) and derivatives are still on an upward trend supported by the tight supply of some feed stocks at a time where UPR margins are still at a low level”.
