Dow Polyurethanes Extends MDI Production Shutdown in Stade, Germany
Dow Europe GmbH has decided to shut down its 235 KTA capacity Methylene Di-para-phenylene Isocyanate (MDI) plant in Stade, Germany, for an expected period of two weeks. The plant will be shut down due to a planned turnaround in mid-April; however, the exact restart date of the plant in the coming weeks is still to be decided. Dow Europe GmbH expects MDI supply to be limited until the Stade plant restarts, and product availability will be managed through order control with immediate effect.
