The Thinky ARE-312 enables highly efficient mixing without an agitator. Typical processing times are just a few minutes. The sample is also effectively degassed by the centrifugal force applied.
The movement is a superposition of a revolution and rotation movement. The ratio between the speed of the two movements has a major influence on the result.
Although this is a device without an integrated vacuum pump, a defoaming mode is available which is sufficient for effective degassing with low to medium viscosity media.
The defoaming mode is characterized by a lower ratio between revolution and rotation movement than in mixing mode, as centrifugal forces are primarily required here. A slight circulation ensures that the sample does not segregate and without heating it significantly.
