The acid resistant design guarantees long-term reliability of results with low levels of wear. The automated addition of phosphoric acid using an acid resistant pump continues to function with the necessary precision even after countless analyses. In addition, the VAPODEST 550 has a sophisticated design that prevents accidental contact with hazardous substances. The entire analysis process of the standard methods for determining formaldehyde and sulphur dioxide is automated in full. The systems independently carry out distillation, titration and the subsequent calculation of results. Programmed methods and titration tables that have been specifically adapted to alkaline titration ensure process-optimised analysis. The automated addition of reagents prevents a loss of analytes, among other benefits. The VAPODEST 550 is an “all-in-one” solution – thanks to the automatic titrimetric determination, no further instruments are needed.
