FREESTYLE ThermELUTE™

Streamlining the process of mycotoxin analysis

LCTech GmbH

Full Automated Mycotoxin analysis from crude extract to chromatogram

Higher sensitivity without further costs where LOD and LOQ could be improved

High throughput application of up to 500 samples/week with improved reproducibility and recovery

From extraction to chromatogram, fully automated

The FREESTYLE ThermELUT enables fully automated sample preparation for the analysis of aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2 and M1 as well as ochratoxin A in all regulated matrices. For this purpose, a FREESTYLE ThermELUT is combined with any HPLC system. The result is comprehensive automation from the crude extract to the finished chromatogram without any manual work steps. The extracted, diluted and filtered sample is automatically transferred to a high-performance SMART Immuno Affinity column via the FREESTYLE system. The special format of this column also enables solvent savings of up to 80% in this step. After washing, the column is heated to break the bond between toxin and antibody (thermally denatured). The toxins are now eluted in large volume as an aqueous eluate directly into the HPLC and therefore achieves increased sensitivity in the lower ppt range. Minimal workload for maximized sample throughput of up to 500 samples / week with reliable sample processing day and night on a very robust system that delivers highly reproducible results.
