The IKA ROTAVISC rotational viscometers enable the precise determination of the viscosity of liquids in all areas of application, from the laboratory to quality control. The four models cover different viscosity ranges, enable simple to sophisticated measurements and deliver stepless and fast results.
As the viscosity value depends largely on the temperature of the medium, IKA offers various accessories for precise and fast temperature control.
The CBC VISC lite heating bath circulator offers enough capacity for two standard beakers. This allows the viscosity measurement to be carried out directly in the bath while a second sample is pre-tempered at the same time. Equipped with environmentally friendly refrigerant R290, a temperature range of -25 to 125 °C is covered.
For higher temperatures of up to 300 °C, the new ROTATEMP accessory is available. The heating oven enables precise temperature control of highly viscous media that are difficult to measure, such as asphalt, bitumen, wax, polymers or hot melt adhesives.
