THINKY ARE-500

The Thinky ARE-500 enables efficient, stirrer-free mixing and dispersing. In just a few minutes, your samples are perfectly mixed. Thanks to the unique superposition of centrifugal and self-rotating motion, the samples are also effectively degassed. The ratio between the two movements plays a decisive role in the result.

In mixing mode, the speed of the centrifugal movement always corresponds to the self-rotating speed. This allows easy homogenization of media with high density differences and low viscosity. For example, think of thin-bodied silicones that need to be mixed with heavy powders such as phosphorus, as is common in LED production.

Although the Thinky ARE-500 does not have an integrated vacuum pump, it does have a degassing mode that provides effective degassing by centrifugal force for low- to medium-viscosity media. During this process, gentle recirculation ensures that the sample does not segregate. A mixing process usually takes only 1-2 minutes, while complete degassing can take about 4-5 minutes.

For temperature-sensitive media or if the temperature would exceed the permissible temperature of the bucket material, the degassing mode is suitable. Due to the low circulation rate, the medium heats up only minimally or not at all. In addition, a higher speed for the centrifugal movement can be achieved, which further promotes degassing.

The Thinky ARE-500 is supplied with an adapter that is compatible with all adapters and buckets of our smaller mixers. The entire process can be program controlled, allowing you to program up to five consecutive steps. Up to five programs can be stored.

As an option, we offer a 24-month warranty, gear ratio adjustment, a drilled-out cup holder for larger cups, and a post-manufacture inspection certificate for qualification purposes.
