The solid stainless steel frame houses a high-quality glass apparatus protected by a chemical-resistant lid with a double-acting, explosion-proof stirrer shaft seal. The stirrer shaft seal, a Büchi proprietary development, ensures a secure seal of the stirrer shaft and protects both the user and the product from interactions. The explosion-proof drive allows variable speed control via a handwheel. The stirrer shaft and the stirrer geometries are available in different materials. The connection between the glass components is made using the stress-free and flexible Buchi-Flex connection system. The CR series uses metal-free components, enabling use in the pharmaceutical and electronics industries.
MiniPilot reactors offer a wide range of features, including a lowering device for easy vessel changes and cleaning processes, standardized components for dosing, distillation and phase separation, an optional coating for additional protection, a CIP cleaning nozzle for easy cleaning, a pH probe holder for pH measurements, insulating sleeves for optimum temperature control, a three-wall vessel for cryogenic applications, expandable measurement, control and regulation components, filter chutes for solids separation and a gas scrubber for cleaning off-gases.
