Electrochemical measuring cells:
GAMRY LPI1010 INTERFACE
Pioneering Electrochemical Testing for Modern Vehicle Batteries and Fuel Cells
Vehicle electrification requires new test methods for batteries and fuel cells. Gamry's LPI1010 interface enables electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) on large battery and fuel cell modules used in vehicles. With voltage capability up to 1000V, the LPI1010 extends the range for voltage and current compared to conventional EIS systems.
The system consists of Gamry's 1010E potentiostat/galvanostat/ZRA interface and LPI1010 accessories, which can be combined with a suitable power supply or electronic load as needed. The use of the LPI1010 eliminates the problem of parallel-mounted EIS characterization and the associated problem of "counter-regulation". The LPI1010 allows precise measurement of the impedance and phase angle of the battery or fuel cell, contributing to the optimization of these energy storage devices.
