Flexible spectrometer system for spectro-electrochemical measurements - without optical fibers and with a wide range of applications in the UV/Vis/NIR range
The SEC2020 spectrometer system is perfectly tailored to spectro-electrochemical measurements. With its modular combination of spectrometer and beam source, it enables flexible applications in the UV/Vis/NIR range. Thanks to integrated collimators, no additional use of optical fibers is required. The system can be used for measurements in standard cuvettes and spectro-electrochemical cells SEC-C as well as for the use of the flow cell SEC-3F. In this case, the connection between the light source and the spectrometer is made directly via the cuvette holder or the flow cell.
By mounting fibers to the spectrometer and beam source, the cuvette holder and flow cell can be decoupled from the instruments and used in glove boxes, for example. In addition, immersion and reflectance probes can be used with the system.
For fluorescence and reflectance measurements, the spectrometer module and light source can even be combined in a 90 degree arrangement. In combination with potentiostats, the system also provides a trigger input for synchronizing optical and electrochemical measurements. Included is a comprehensive and user-friendly SpectraSmart™ spectroscopy software that offers functions such as spectra comparison, quantification and kinetic evaluations.
