The new ETN-12 EME is the world's first device that enables the fast and environmentally friendly extraction of analytes from complex samples. It combines speed and sustainability in sample preparation and enables the simultaneous extraction and cleaning of 12 samples in just 15 minutes for direct MS analysis. In many cases, further prior separation using LC is no longer necessary. EME stands for Electromembrane Extraction, a technology that uses electricity to extract charged analytes cleanly, even from matrices such as whole blood. The device is easy to operate and set up. Control and monitoring is possible with the control software, which allows each sample position to be individually configured for extractions. With low energy consumption and minimal use of organic solvents and simple buffers, EME is the environmentally friendly solution for precise analyses in the laboratory.
