ROTAVISC
Steplessly Determine the Viscosity of Liquids - Precisely, Quickly and Easily
You’re looking for a viscosity measuring instrument that’s really easy to operate and has a wide range of functions? Then take a closer look at IKA's four ROTAVISC rotational viscometers, which measure in different viscosity ranges.
The rotational speed is infinitely variable over the entire measurement range between 0.01 and 200 revolutions per minute. This allows you to program a smooth flow curve – unique among entry-level viscometers.
To let you carry out your first measurements immediately after unpacking, there’s a lot of features: ISO standard spindle set, protective bracket, temperature sensor and ROTASTAND stand – they’re all included. And to make your measurements process-secure, all ROTAVISC viscometers possess a digital level.
The motorized stand HELISTAND is available optionally. It extends the application range of your viscometer and allows you to reliably measure highly viscous samples.

Topic world Rheology
Rheology deals with the flow behavior and deformation properties of materials. In the chemical field, it is indispensable for understanding the consistency, viscosity and elasticity of liquids, gels and solids. Whether formulating paints, producing polymers or optimizing food textures, rheological properties influence how substances react, move and feel.
