TitroLine alpha plus, a Loner or a Team Player

28-Mar-2002

At the international trade fair "Analytica", in Munich (23. - 26.4.2002) Schott-Geräte, Mainz will be presenting there new compact titrator "TitroLine alpha plus", a customer-oriented further development of the successful TitroLine alpha titrator.

The large graphical display with online curve provides direct information on the state of the titration without having to wait for a printout. Five soft-keys, communicative software and over one hundred pre- parameterized titration methods make the instrument easy to set up and operate. The dosing unit snaps into place and can be changed with a minimum of effort. In addition to the 10, 20 and 50 ml units, 1 ml and 5 ml units are also available for micro-titrations.

The "TitroLine alpha plus" is a compact, flexible, very robust and universally applicable titrator. The range of suitable applications includes simple titration procedures such as end-point titrations to determine the total acid in wine, pH-stat applications to determine enzymatic activity, Karl Fischer determinations of water content as well as complex and difficult non-aqueous titration procedures such as the determination of the total acid and base numbers in oils (TAN/TBN).

The "TitroLine alpha plus", may also be used to titrate with other burettes connected to the instrument. These burettes may also be used for pre-dosing. By connecting piston burettes, sample changer, analytic balance, printer or PC, the "TitroLine alpha plus" develops from a loner to a real team leader.

The logbook with numereous documents for quality assurance including forms and check lists facilitates the validation (DQ, IQ, OP, PQ) of the "TitroLine alpha plus".
