Teknos opens own sales company in Slovenia
Teknos has signed a contract to acquire the business from the Slovenian paint distributor DO-RAL and established a new sales company Teknos d.o.o. As a minority shareholder in the new company is Mr Dominik Zupan, the owner of DO-RAL. The new company starts on 1st September.
Before the acquisition DO-RAL acted as sales agent for Teknos selling industrial wood paints to local door, window and furniture manufacturers. The co-operation started in 2004. DO-RAL has also invested in the marketing to get Teknos brand on the map in Slovenia. Mr. Dominik Zupan has been nominated as managing director in the new company and the personnel from DO-RAL will move to the new company. Teknos focuses to strengthen the organisation in Slovenia and widen the product range to cover also paints and coatings for metal industry.
The company will move to bigger premises near Ljubljana where there will be a large warehouse, technical facilities and tinting service to ensure quick paint deliveries and good service to the area.
