Petrom S.A. of Romania has commissioned Uhde to build a gasoline desulphurisation plant at their refinery located in Brazi, some 50km north of Bucharest. This clean fuels plant is scheduled to come on-stream in early 2009 with an annual capacity of 700,000 tonnes of low-sulphur gasoline.

The contract is worth some EUR90 million to Uhde and includes comprehensive engineering services, supply of the equipment, construction, commissioning support and facilitating training of the operating personnel.
