Arkema Upgrades its Price Increases for High Performance Polyamides
Effective immediately, Arkema is revising all previous price increase announcements for its high performance polyamides product lines; the value of this revision will be a further +3 % over and above previously announced 7 %. This new level increase of 10 % will be applied to all Rilsan®, Pebax®, Platamid® and Orgalloy® granules.
According to the company, exceptional developments on raw material, energy and transportation costs have made this change necessary, despite the various productivity programs that the company has implemented. The amount of the increase will vary across product lines and across regions as far as currencies are concerned.
