SCP SCIENCE Announces Purchase of Conostan From ConocoPhillips
SCP SCIENCE has reached an agreement to purchase Conostan, an oil-based standards manufacturing division of ConocoPhillips. Located in Ponca City, Okla., Conostan is a manufacturer and supplier of oil-based analytical standards used for calibration or verification of instruments for analysis of organic fluids. Products include organo-metallic calibration standards for atomic spectroscopy, standards for particle counting, sulfur-in-oil standards, and other oil-based standards . Beginning Dec. 1, Conostan products will be available from SCP SCIENCE, and the standards manufacturing facility will be located in the expanded manufacturing facility in Baie D'Urfé, Canada.
