Christ expands in North Africa
Christ water Technology Group company Aqua Engineering GmbH has founded a new subsidiary, Aqua Engineering N.A. Sarl in Tunis, Tunisia. The new group company will address the growing market for drinking water, waste water and sea water desalination plants in the region.
A particular focus will be the French-speaking countries. Dr. Ramzi Ben Abdessalem could be won as Managing Director bringing to CHRIST his profound experience in water treatment and excellent contacts to local authorities and water utilities, respectively.
Aqua Engineering Managing Director, Dr. Johannes Laimer, comments, "Based on our knowhow and moving closer to the customer, we now can better seize the expansion opportunities in this region of growth. Having set up this new company, we booked an order for engineering a major drinking water plant with a capacity of 400,000m3 per day in Egypt."
