PolyOne Announces Price Increase for Flexible Vinyl Compounds
PolyOne Corporation announced that it has increased the price of its flexible vinyl compounds by US$0.03 per pound, effective with shipments on or after June 15, 2007. The increase is driven by continued rising costs for plasticizers and stabilizers as well as vinyl resins. According to the company, plasticizer costs have significantly increased due to escalating increases in feedstock and alcohol prices.
This increase follows the US$0.03 per pound price increase effective on March 15, 2007, and the US$0.02 per pound increase effective on May 15, 2007.
