Patrik Wohlhauser to Become New Member of the Degussa Management Board
"The establishment of this direct reporting link to the management board shows how important we consider marketing and sales to be for Degussa´s competitiveness and overall business success. This gives market and customer orientation the strategic weight it requires", emphasized Dr. Klaus Engel, Degussa GmbH's Chief Executive Officer. "I am very pleased that we were able to engage Patrik Wohlhauser, an experienced international and sales-oriented executive, for this role."
Wohlhauser will also be the management board member responsible for the Consumer Solutions reporting segment and for the region Western and Eastern Europe. His successor as head of the Exclusive Synthesis & Catalysts Business Unit will be Dr. Rudolf Hanko, 51, who currently heads the Exclusive Synthesis Business Line of the same business unit.
