Honeywell Appoints Terrence Hahn as Vice President and General Manager for Fluorine Products
Honeywell announced it has appointed Terrence Hahn as vice president and general manager for its fluorine Products business, effective March 1. He will report directly to Nance Dicciani, president and CEO, specialty materials.
Prior to joining Honeywell, Hahn spent nearly 20 years with Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. He most recently served as senior director for the company's global Electronic Specialty Materials business, where he was responsible for overall performance. In this position, he transformed the business and moved its headquarters to Asia while significantly increasing sales in the region. Hahn built a team that served customers worldwide and was commercially accountable for the technology, supply chain, procurement, engineering, finance and quality functions. He was based in Taipei, Taiwan.
Hahn also served in a number of other capacities for Air Products, including country manager for Malaysia, business development manager for refinery hydrogen, and on-sites manager for Canada. He also was integration business leader for the company's acquisition of Ashland's Electronic Chemicals business in 2003.
In addition to electronics, Hahn has led business development and commercial management activities for a number of segments such as refining and petrochemical, mineral and metals processing, and rubber and plastics.
Hahn earned a bachelor's and master's degree in materials science from Lehigh University, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
