L&V's Process Group Awarded a $14.4 Million Order For a Tar Sands Development Project in Alberta
Groupe Laperrière & Verreault Inc. ("GL&V") announced that its Process Group (Dorr-Oliver Eimco) has been awarded a $14.4 million order to supply, in November 2007, a significant number of large capacity flotation cells used for the primary and secondary recovery of bitumen, as part of a large-scale tar sands development project in Alberta, Canada.
"Along with the ore processing sector, the energy market offers major opportunities for our Process Group and represents one of its major development targets, in light of this market's excellent growth outlook worldwide and of our Process Group's growing technological portfolio and recognized know-how in this field," indicated Richard Verreault, President and Chief Operating Officer of GL&V. "Accordingly, one of the key strategic objectives of our Process Group for the upcoming years will be to increase its presence and expand its technological portfolio in order to provide comprehensive solutions as a global supplier to the energy industry."
