Makhteshim Agan acquires 60% of Italian Kollant Group
Makhteshim Agan announced that one of its wholly-owned overseas subsidiaries has acquired 60% of the Italian group, Kollant. The parties agreed not to publish the details of the transaction.
Kollant, established in 1969, develops, manufactures and sells a range of plant protection products, rodenticides and molluskicides, aimed mainly, but not only, for non-crop uses. Most of Kollant's Group sales are in Italy and other EU countries, and in 2005 reached $30 million.
