CECA announces 30% granulation capacity increase of molecular sieves
Eager to follow the growth of its customers in the Eastern European double glazing industry, CECA, Arkema's specialty chemicals business unit, has announced a 30% increase in its molecular sieves (synthetic zeolithes) granulation capacity. This investment will be carried out at its Inowroclaw plant in Poland.
"This major capacity increase at the Inowroclaw plant in Poland is in line with our worldwide development strategy for molecular sieves. Our new production line for adsorbent beads, marketed under the tradename SILIPORITE®, will come on stream in early 2007; this will represent a significant boost to our commercial presence in Eastern Europe where the double glazing market requires the production of high quality molecular sieves combined with a reactive organisation in terms of product availability" explains Christophe de Saint Louvent, Group President of CECA.
