Waters Expands Expands Asian Presence
Waters Corporation announced it has significantly expanded its Asian presence by inaugurating a new purpose-built facility in Singapore that will manufacture the Waters(R) Alliance(R) high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system.
As part of a strategy to better serve the needs of its customers in the region, Waters is partnering with Solectron Corporation which will manufacture Waters' Alliance(R) HPLC Systems at Solectron's facility located at the Technopark @ Chai Chee.
Mr. John Ornell, Chief Financial Officer of Waters Corporation, said: "Waters has been in Singapore for more than a decade and during that time we've seen business grow significantly in Asia with countries such as China and India leading the way."
