AMI Agrolinz Melamine International further consolidates its position in the fertilizer market

Through its fully owned subsidiary, LINZER AGRO TRADE, AMI Agrolinz Melamine International GmbH is now strengthening both its competence and extending its role as Europe's largest fertilizer wholesaler to include Eastern Europe. The foundation of sales companies in Romania and Serbia constitutes the targeted further expansion of the company's position as the region's no.1 fertilizer specialist.
Through January 2006 and via its fertilizer company, LINZER AGRO TRADE, AMI is now not only active in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, but also in the Eastern European markets of Romania and Serbia. For 2006, the Romanian company anticipates fertilizer sales of around 74,000 t and that in Serbia, approximately 54,000 t.
