Methanex and Univar agree to long-term methanol supply arrangement

Methanex Corporation and Univar Canada Ltd. have reached a long-term agreement under which Methanex has become the exclusive Methanol supplier to Univar in Western Canada.
Methanex's Director, North American Marketing & Logistics, Joe Caudell, commented, "We have converted our Kitimat site into a world-class terminal operation, have established terminaling in Edmonton and also plan to have a terminal in the US Pacific Northwest. This will uniquely position Methanex to be a reliable, long-term supplier to Univar and other customers in these important markets."
