Reichhold Announces List & Off-List Price Increases on Moisture Cure Urethanes and On Acrylic Emulsion Products
Reichhold also announced list and off-list price increases for all acrylic, styrene acrylic, vinyl acrylic, and vinyl acetate emulsions sold to the coatings industry in North America. These products are marketed under the AROLON® and SYNTHEMUL® trademarks. Orders shipped on or after November 15th, 2005 will reflect a $0.05 - $0.07per pound increase in price. This increase is necessitated by continued escalation of prices for raw materiasl and energy costs associated with the manufacture and distribution of these products. This increase is in addition to the previously announced September 19th increase of $0.05 per pound. The precise amount of the increase will be determined per product based on the effect of raw materials on the specific products. Increases for customers that are under contract will become effective based on the specific conditions of their contract.
