Ineos Fluor Mexico opens for Business

25-Aug-2005

INEOS Fluor, producer of Refrigerant 134a has opened a new regional office in Monterrey, to meet the needs of its growing refrigerants business in South America. The company, which has supplied refrigerant to the automotive air conditioning sector through Quimobasicos, will serve customers in South America directly, as it expands its business interests in the region.

INEOS Fluor will provide the regions refrigerant needs from its world-class manufacturing facility in St. Gabriel, LA, which has successfully increased its capacity to meet recent high demand for R-134a. The company, which has refrigerant manufacture at its core, also has an R-134a plant at Mihara, Japan and has invested in expanding its R-125 capacity at Runcorn in the UK.

Over time it is expected that this office will become the regional headquarters for INEOS Fluor in Latin America as activities in, Mexico, Argentina, Uraguay, Chile, Peru, El Salvador, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic continue to develop.
