Air Products Names Merck Executive to Its Board of Directors
Margaret G. McGlynn, President, U.S. Human Health for Merck & Co., Inc., has been elected to Air Products' board of directors.
Air Products' Chairman and Chief Executive Officer John P. Jones said, "Margie brings extensive healthcare leadership and industry experience to our board, which will be tremendously valuable as we continue to expand our global healthcare business serving both homecare patients and medical institutions."
McGlynn, 45, joined Merck in 1983 as a professional representative and has spent the past 22 years with the company in positions of increasing responsibility, including marketing, sales, managed care and business development. She has held a number of senior-level positions, including Senior Vice President, Managed Care and Senior Vice President, Worldwide Human Health Marketing at Merck, as well as Senior Vice President, Health and Utilization Management, at Merck-Medco. More recently, she was Executive Vice President, Customer Marketing and Sales, before assuming her current role. She previously served on the boards of Quidel Corporation and Amphion Capital Partners, LLC, and she currently serves on the board of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and the Corporate Executive Board of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
