Determination of NOx-Emissions - VDI Guidline 2456
Stationary source emissions - Determination of the total of nitro-gen monoxide and nitrogen dioxide - Ion chromatographic method
The guidline VDI 2456 specifies a wet chemical method which is applicable to the determination of the mass concentration of nitrogen monoxide and nitrogen dioxide in theses exhaust gases. The nitrogen monoxides are measured as total and, by convention, expressed in milligrams nitrogen dioxide per cubic metre. The method is suitable for use in the range approx. 30 to approx. 3.000 mg/m³ NO2. It can also be used as reference method for mandatory measurements according to VDI 3950 or EN 14181.
