PerkinElmer Adds Chinese-Language Interface to Gas Chromatography Instruments
PerkinElmer, Inc. (NYSE: PKI), a leading provider of drug discovery, life science research and analytical solutions, today announced that its Clarus® gas chromatograph (GC) and TurboMatrix(TM) headspace and thermal desorption systems are now available with a Chinese-language touch-screen interface. For labs in China and other regions staffed by native speakers of Chinese, the new interface combines Chinese-language menus and intuitive icon-driven sample handling operations, providing ease-of-use and enhancing productivity.
Dr. Lin Li, Asian business development manager, Environmental and Chemical business at PerkinElmer, Inc., added, "China is growing quickly and labs are expanding to meet the needs of industry and government. Our addition of Chinese-language support will speed adoption of our integrated GC solutions throughout China and other countries that employ Chinese scientists and technicians."
