SpecialChem to add PaintandCoatings.com to its Portfolio of Services
Eastman Chemical Company announces that SpecialChem, a global information and technical service provider for the specialty chemicals industry, will now run PaintandCoatings.com, an established and recognized coatings industry source for up-to-date market news and industry trends. Its services will be added to specialchem4coatings.com, SpecialChem's own Internet platform for advanced technical assistance, product innovation and information services. In combining these features, SpecialChem becomes a one-stop, global industry resource for paints and coatings formulators, raw materials suppliers and end-users.
This acquisition brings the community of SpecialChem users up to 25,000 industry professionals. They will benefit from SpecialChem's existing portfolio of services, including "WebSeminars" and industry "TechCenters" on diverse topics such as rheology, dispersion and radiation curing technologies. Users will also have access to SpecialChem's 24-hour network of industry experts, sharing rapid, customized technical assistance and innovative solutions to visitor queries. PaintandCoatings's features, including market news, editorial and industry trends, will be fully integrated into SpecialChem for an enhanced service offering.
