Chemidex Completes Investment Round and Adds Officers
Chemidex is the creator of the Chemidex Cybrary, a service that accelerates the exchange of technical information between chemical suppliers and formulated-product manufacturers. The Cybrary's registered users include over 2,500 manufacturers in the global chemical industry, who access the resource to acquire detailed technical data, find answers for specific formulation questions and order chemical samples.

Dodd was President and CEO of NIC, Inc, an Internet Services company serving the government sector, from 1999 to 2002. During his tenure the company completed a successful initial public offering and grew from $8 million to over $40 million in revenue. Dodd spent 14 years with Sprint prior to his NIC stint, managing several consumer business operations including leading Sprint's entry into Consumer Internet Access. He holds a BA in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard.
Perry has been Marketing Manager for Chemidex's North American operations for over three years, and has been instrumental in building the company's information retrieval services. Prior to joining Chemidex in 1999, Matt was Technical Manager for Becker -Underwood, Inc. a specialty colorant manufacturer. He holds a BS in Chemistry-Business from the University of Evansville in Indiana.
Included in Chemidex's financing round was an investment from two funding vehicles of the Kansas Technology Enterprise Corporation (KTEC). Ianni said that the investment is consistent with the Company's strategy. "It has always been the vision of Chemidex to attract investors who have experience in developing technology industry leaders. We're thrilled that KTEC, which has been a catalyst to the growth of several Internet and technology success stories, is now a partner with Chemidex."
